Share your Photos! We now have an easy way to share photos from pack events at pack63.smugmug.com. Check out the instructions below to get started. If you have any questions, please send a note to webmaster@scoutpack63.org. Special thanks to SmugMug for generously providing a free professional account for Pack 63. How do I view Pack 63 photos on SmugMug? Navigate to pack63.smugmug.com in your browser. You will be prompted to enter a password (your den leader can provide this). SmugMug will remember you (unless you check the "Don't save this password" box), so you won't have to enter the password next time. If you are on a public compter, please be sure to check the box.
Once you've entered the password, you'll see our photo galleries. Click on a gallery to view its photos. You can browse the photos, view a slideshow, order prints, or download photos (even original size!).
Although you entered a password, you are not logged into SmugMug. The password just gives you access to view the galleries. To add your own pictures to a gallery, you need to log in (see the next section below). How do I add my photos to a gallery? To add your own pictures to a gallery, you need to log onto SmugMug. Click the Login link in the upper right area of the SmugMug site. Enter the user name "pack63" in the email field of the login form:
The password is the same one used for viewing photos (again, your den leader can provide this). Once you log in, you should see the galleries. Now you are in "Assistant" mode, which allows you to edit galleries and add your own photos. If you have photos from an event for which we do not yet have a gallery, you can create it yourself. About the only thing you can't do is delete photos and galleries. To add photos to a gallery, click the Add Photos button in the toolbar atop the gallery page:
SmugMug also provides additional ways to upload photos easily. For example, you can add photos directly from popular photo applications, such as Google Picasa. See the Adding Photos section of SmugMug help for more information. What if I need help? No problem. SmugMug has an excellent help section. If your question isn't answered there, send an email to webmaster@scoutpack63.org. What if I need to delete a photo or gallery? You can't do this in "Assistant" mode. Just send an email to webmaster@scoutpack63.org, and the webmaster will take care of it. |
